Fall is Feeding Time for Arkansas Skunks, Moles and Armadillos

Posted on Sep 24, 2007 by admin in Armadillo, Moles, Skunk | 0 Comments

It’s feeding time for wildlife that depends on grubs and worms for their diet. The hot summer is closing down and underground insect activity is getting busy in preparation for winter. Skunks, armadillos, moles and other nuisance wildlife in Arkansas will be busy too in search of their favorite meal.

Skunk and armadillo activity can be noticed by holes in your yard 2 to 4 inches deep and golf ball to baseball size. Mole activity can be recognized by slightly raised earth which marks their tunnels.
